The funny part was that we were supposed to go get some golf clubs, and the kids were not cooperating, so I all I needed was some down time. I sat at the computer and had a beer, and decided to play Cash Splash which I don't do that often. I think I had $100 left in my account when the pop-up screen said that I was the winner! I was so shocked, I ran downstairs to tell my husband who was mowing the lawn, and I was shaking. When he saw me like that he thought something awful hasdhappened, I just stood there shaking and said 'it’s a good thing don' worry' So he came upstairs with me to see it for himself. Obviously he was very very happy. I have two sons: ages 6 and 7. They also came to see what was happening. My parents were out of town, and I called my Dad and I left 13 messages on his cell phone, but they were out of range. When they finally called me back, they were really excited!

What do you like about the progressives?
I alternate between playing the progressives and Video Poker in the casino. I began playing only in January, and the first time I ever played the progressives I won on Wowpot, that was the first jackpot I won online. I love the progressives, because even if I don't really win the jackpot, I can always win something. The payoffs are great!

What are your plans for the money?
That same night, just before I won, we sat down and made a list of things that we need to buy. Some of the money is going to golf equipment. I stayed at home with the kids for 7 years, and just last year I went back to work. After this win, it is the first time in 7 years that we have only the mortgage to pay. It is such an amazing feeling to know that we are now out of debt, and that we can afford to do things that we couldn't before. Now we are looking at fixing the house, first the doors. It is one of those feelings that you think that it will never happen again. I won $3500 in May and all of that went to repair the roof, now we can do some more things around the house and also extend our vacation.

Is there anything special that you do for good luck?
Not really, I find that when you get close to 0 is when you seem to hit. 19 is my lucky number, and I won on June 19th.

If you could pick anywhere in the world to go on vacation, where would it be?
We are going to Canada, and now we are able to stay a few more days in a very nice hotel. It was planned before we won, but now it is going to be grander! The most important thing was paying out the bills.
